About Trey:
Silvestrey (Trey) P’orantes is an actor for voice, screen, & stage, a writer, model, drag artist, director, producer, and a classically trained singer with a three-octave range. If Trey weren’t already so good at walking, they would be a mermaid too.
Trey has a BA in Theatre from Augsburg University with a concentration in Performance, Playwriting, Directing, & Dramaturgy. They also studied Arts Performing Social Change at the University of Puerto Rico, and recently became certified in unarmed stage combat. That’s right, this cryptid does her own stunts.
Born in the Twin Cities and raised in the Duluth area, Trey is of Kaqchikel Maya and White Earth Nation Anishinaabe descent. A proud member of the LGBT community, Trey is genderfluid, two-spirit, bisexual, and uses they/she/he pronouns. No mere sailor can resist.
A chameleon of aesthetic and skill, Trey’s versatility shines in any role they adopt. The themes of their personal work varies by medium but often explores the relationship between humanity & nature, indigenous futurism & decolonization, history & the supernatural, and most especially, queer joy. This fish does it all. Their outspoken, unapologetic attitude is only outmatched by the breadth of their imagination.
Recent credits include starring in:
